Rhianna (she/her) is a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). She received her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Memorial University and her Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University (Honours). Rhianna has completed post-graduate training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Level 1).

Healthcare has always been an interest of Rhianna’s, and supporting others comes very naturally to her. Rhianna’s nursing experience helps her foster a delicate balance of connection, compassion, and support for those in her care. For her, what is most important is that you are met in a warm, kind and non-judgemental way, very much aligning with her calm and gentle personality.

Life can be hard, overwhelming, unpredictable, and is ever-changing. She will take the time to listen and understand your unique story and lived experience. As her therapeutic lens is client-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed, the focus is on respecting your individual needs and values, open communication, shared-decision making, and advocating for you.

Rhianna will pull from elements of various therapies to meet individual needs, helping you better understand your struggles, while working together towards therapy goals.
